Angela Coulter, MPH

Public Health Strategist
Behavioral Strategy & Wellbeing Practitioner

I’ve spent more than three decades studying one question from multiple professional angles: What actually drives sustained behavioral change in individuals and in the systems around them?

I started in corporate marketing, eventually becoming Director of Global Marketing for a billion-dollar clinica research organization, where I managed teams, built brand strategy, and worked directly within the clinical research and development pipeline. That role sharpened a skill that’s carried through everything since: understanding what actually moves people and organizations to act, not just what sounds good on paper.

Most recently, I’ve spent fifteen years running my own practice in behavioral change and inner work mentoring, working one-on-one and in groups. Much of my focus is helping others out of their perpetual stress responses – due to inner blocks and environmental constraints – and into self-knowing and how to confidently navigate major life transitions. Through this work, a large part of my clientele has become those aged 40-65, helping them through the threshold into the next powerful stage of fulfillment in their lives. This work made me increasingly interested in Blue Zone theory and longevity and wellbeing science, which is population-level evidence that reinforces what I’ve been seeing individually for years. These interests sent me back to school for a Master’s in Public Health, with a focus in behavioral and social sciences, plus an additional graduate certificate in LGBTQ+ Public Health. I graduated in August 2026.

Attending the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva Switzerland, as part of a Kent State MPH global health immersion, May 2026.

Part of my graduate experience took me to Geneva, Switzerland, during the 79th World Health Assembly, where I attended 12 WHA side events and six presentations at the WHO, along with visits to the Global Fund, the International Foundation of the Red Cross (IFRC), and the United Nations. Being physically present for those conversations (instead of just reading about the policy and the institutions from a distance) further strengthened how I think about structural health: how governance, trust, and the built environment itself function as foundational determinants of health well beyond the basics of medical care.

My work now sits at the Intersection of all three chapters: behavioral science, organizational marketing strategy, and public health. I translate longevity research, behavioral change theory, and environmental/structural health factors into practical strategy for organizations and communities, which includes employee wellbeing program design, culture-level health initiatives, and public health consulting grounded in both data and lived operational experience.

I believe real, lasting change in any system, whether a person, a team, or community, is built from the inside out, and only lasts when the environment is  intentionally designed to support it. That’s my goal on building programs with organizations and communities: beyond wellness trends and into the real structural change built to enable health and happiness for its individuals.

I’d love to help you build that for your organization or community.
